[tab_item title=”Overview”]

Groups of 12 or more passionate about biodiversity conservation are encouraged to volunteer with this program aimed to protect the endangered Titi (squirrel) Monkey habitat in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific region through sustainable development, habitat reforestation, and environmental education. The development of forest corridors is critical to creating connectivity between squirrel monkey populations and other wildlife species that are currently isolated, in order to ensure the long‐term genetic health. Our reforestation is not just any old reforestation. We analyze the best connectivity routes and and native species in order to go beyond reforestation and ensure habitat regeneration for the the sake of biodiversity conservation. We come with fieldworkers, prepare the land and select the small trees, so that our volunteers can enjoy planting in a safe environment.
