At first we were going to call her “Gritona,” which means Screamer. I’ll let you guess why. But now I think we’re just going to call her “Storm.” She’s a bit possessed you

Inigenous Medical Center
May 21, 2007We are currently trying to build a medical center in the Talamanca Mountains. We have a doctor who walks 6 hours into the mountains once a week, but he has no place from which to operate. This makes seeing patients incredibly difficult.

April 20, 2007Many potential volunteers ask us for more detail about what they would be doing as part of our volunteer program here in Costa Rica. That, of course, really depends on which project you would be participating in.
We also do a lot of customizing of the volunteer schedule based on the goals of the volunteer. Some volunteers choose to fill up their day with as many hours of projects as possible, where others want to volunteer a minimum amount of time so they can take advantage of the beach, tours or to just relax.
