Airline Crap
August 10, 2006

Much has changed, of course since then and I just hate the crap I have to go through at the airport. The worst of it being that I have to arrive so darn early just to ensure I’ll get through the mile-long security lines.

But no matter what happens, I always learn more about other people and myself.

How to Help
June 11, 2006

At least once a week I get emails from people coming to Costa Rica wondering how it is they can help. They are often willing to bring down things to donate. So I thought I’d create a post with a bit more information in the event you — or someone you know — is coming to visit soon. Perhaps you’d consider packing a couple of extra things for those in need?

Shipping Problems
June 8, 2006

Dear Editor:
I wanted to comment about your article this past week about “Tips on Shipping Items into Costa Rica.” I can really appreciate the reason for the article, as getting goods shipped here to Costa Rica can be challenging — at best. But as optimistic as the article presents the subject, I find the reality of receiving packages here in Costa Rica to be much different….
