Throughout my life I’ve come across people and experiences that have caused a dramatic shift in my consciousness. I’ve always felt during these shifts that I was gaining altitude. In other words, I’ve felt very much like I’m moving in a circle. When I’ve encountered something that helped me to grow, I feel like I moved up to a higher rung on the spiral.Spiral

Not really having an idea how far up the spiral I really am, I do know that I am further up that a certain percentage of others. I truly feel that my purpose in life is to assist others who are trailing behind me to move along further up the spiral. In addition, I feel that I have the following gifts:

  • Knowing what other people need to heal
  • Helping people re-evaluate their limiting beliefs and misperceptions of reality
  • Guiding people closer to their hearts and assisting them in letting go of judgment (others and self)
  • Acting as an instrument of Spirit’s all-encompassing love

Now I’m really trying to figure out the best way to position myself to be of the most assistance in this world of ours. Should I find a niche group to market to (such as those looking for their purpose in life or the terminally ill) or try to work as broadly as possible so as not to limit the number of people I might be able to reach?

Things I really enjoy are:

  • Writing
  • Counseling / Coaching
  • Relationship Work
  • Leading Retreats
  • Guest Lecturing

But what really sets me apart from others?

  • I really do feel like I move seamlessly into compassion for whomever I’m working with – free of all judgment.
  • More than that, I feel like – because we’re all One – I can see how the person I’m working with is nothing more (or less) than a part of myself.
  • I believe I have the ability to help others see things from a different perspective.
  • I truly believe – and feel – that all we experience day-to-day is an illusion, I have less of an attachment to what is around me. Because of that, I have the ability to trust What Is and see the beauty in all of what is unfolding in our daily lives despite any negative labels that society puts on these things.

So what’s next? I think it’s trusting that I’m moving in the right direction and that life will unfold the way it’s supposed to. There is no “wrong” decision I can make.
